What Is an Inkjet Printer?

An inkjet printer is a computer peripheral that produces hard copies of a text document or photo by spraying droplets of ink onto paper.

In the inkjet printing mechanism, the print head has several tiny nozzles, also called jets. As the paper moves past the print head, the nozzles spray the ink onto it, forming the characters and images.


The Problems of Inkjet Printer transferring the ink

During high-speed printing, the inkjet printer needs to continuously deliver ink to the nozzle, and the ink will continue to decrease. In order to ensure a continuous supply of ink, the ink tube is usually inserted into an external ink barrel and a pump is used to deliver the ink to the auxiliary ink cartridge for transfer.　

Inkjet printers often adopt diaphragm pumps as ink delivery pumps, or collect and discharge waste ink. Although diaphragm pumps are cheap, when transferring solvent-based inks or inks with high viscosity, the pump will be damaged or the flow rate will be unstable during the delivery process. And it will also cause problems such as dead corners of ink residue in the pump.
